What does ProspectIP do?
ProspectIP is an innovation initiative of De Montfort University funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).

What kinds of innovations do we support?
- New ideas in the form of products, services and processes for ALL sectors and types of businesses.
- The project is NOT sector specific. Support is available to individuals, SMEs, Corporates and public sector organisations.
- Innovations at all stages of development can be supported by the project - all are subject to the same thorough evaluation process.
- The exploitation process within ProspectIP is based on a funded partnership.
- ProspectIP proactively sources ideas and supports businesses/individuals through the commercialisation process.
- Through the exploitation process, the Inventor retains ownership of the Intellectual Property.
- ProspectIP has access to expertise from the East Midlands Universities for innovation advice, prototyping, product development and support.
