What does ProspectIP do?
ProspectIP is an innovation initiative of De Montfort University partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and consortium partners (De Montfort University, University of Lincoln, Northampton University, NHS Innovations East Midlands and University of Derby).

- New ideas in the form of products, services and processes for ALL sectors and types of businesses.
- The project is NOT sector specific.
- Innovations at all stages of development can be supported by the project - all are subject to the same thorough evaluation process.
- ProspectIP proactively sources ideas and supports businesses through the process.
- Throughout the exploitation process, the business/inventor retains ownership of the intellectual property.
