The ProspectIP Distinguished Lecture was delivered by the highly experienced champion of innovation, Dr John Beacham CBE, DSc, FRSC. The event, attended by over 90 people was supported by the East Midlands iFestival.
In an extremely interesting and motivating presentation, Dr Beacham explained why innovation is so important in businesses today and how to adopt an innovation culture within your business setting.

Dr John Beacham’s chief expertise is in new product innovation, science and technology strategy and business-higher education partnerships. He spent thirty years working within research & development at ICI UK and was subesecquently an advisor on strategy and innovation at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Dr Beacham was awarded a CBE in the 2000 New Year’s Honours List “for services to the Chemical Industry”.
